I made my weekly trip to the local beauty supply store yesterday, hoping they would have the new OPI Texas Collection (I know, I know, the collection wasn't due to be released to the public until February 1st...). Since I wasn't able to get my hands on any new colors, I figured, why make it a wasted trip - I should buy something! So, after eyeing all of the rows and rows of polish, I couldn't help but pick up a bottle of "Samoan Sand". It just seemed like the perfect nude color - a color I could wear and look classy and feel sexy. So, $7.25 later, it's mine!
Oh, I forgot to mention, I also bought my first bottle of OPI's Ridge Filler. I had never tried it before, but had some bumpiness on my right thumb nail, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! Awesome stuff!
Here are some pictures of "Samoan Sand":
Application:
OPI Chip Skip
1 coat of OPI Nail Envy, Original Formula
2 coats of OPI Ridge Filler
2 coats of OPI "Samoan Sand"
1 coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
According to both OPI's website and their most recent color catalog, "Samoan Sand" is in their Classics Collection, so I don't think we have to worry about this one going anywhere, anytime soon!
Great nude color !
ReplyDeleteWhen you'll have time, can you review We'll always have Paris please ?
I'm planning to buy some new colors soon and I'm not 100% sure if this one is « necessary » :)
Yes, absolutely! I'm snowed-in today, so I'm sure nail-painting will be part of today's activities! I'll try getting pics up later this afternoon!
ReplyDeletetotally need to get this one. Bubble Bath, while I love it, makes my hand look dirty so my go - to nude is a SH complete salon. Which would be fine if I wasn't such an OPI wh-re. I really need a perfect nude from OPI and I think this is it! Now just to FIND it :-)
ReplyDeletelove this polish!!
ReplyDeletecame here cause i was wondering which goes on first: nail envy or ridge filler - thanks for the helpful application list! :D
